I am Takabu Kazuko to assume the president of National Institute on Consumer Education. I will continue and develop the our mission and activities that the former president has promoted.

In the 2010 year, there was the movement that we called "First year of the Consumer Education".
The consumer agency held the consumer education promotion conference, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology held the training workshop for teacher and the consumer education festival, and made the guideline for the university and Social Education.
National Institute on Consumer Education held a commemoration symposium and an overseas investigation on the 20th anniversary of establishment.

In addition, we faced serious damage by the influence of the large earthquake in east Japan. Therefore, we try to address the activities cooperating with related organizations such as national ministries and local governments.
